ABT Sportsline reveals Volkswagen Beetle kit

ABT Sportsline is a well-known German tuner which these days turned its attention to the Volkswagen Beetle, the new generation to be more precise.

ABT prepared a comprehensive tuning kit which includes a power boost for the 2.0-liter TFSI engine which normally produces 197 horsepower.

After few basic modifications, the petrol unit under the bonnet of the new Beetle delivers 236 horses.

In terms of styling, the exterior gets new front and rear spoilers, eyelids for the headlamps, a rear apron with diffuser and new 18- to 20-inch alloy wheels.

As you probably see, the new Volkswagen Beetle sports a white finish with black and red stripes but also black side mirror covers.

A new high-performance braking system with 340x30mm discs is also available while a sport suspension able to lower the ground clearance completes the tuning package.

ABT Sportsline released no pricing and availability details for the new tuning kit.
