The German tuners from Hartge released a new package developed for a model bearing BMW’s badge, this time for the most powerful diesel in the X3 range. We talk about the BMW X3 xDrive35d which received a serious power boost from the tuning house.

The standard model packs a 3.0-liter diesel engine offering 309 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque, enough resources for a 0 – 100 km/h acceleration in just 5,8 seconds.

If the fastest BMW X3 is still not fast enough, Hartge offers a power boost for the turbocharged engine. To be more precise, the German company increases the total output to 357 horses at 4,400 rpm and 730 Nm of torque from 1,800 rpm.

With the extra power, Hartge’s BMW X3 xDrive35d hits a top speed of 248 km/h and completes the 80 to 180 km/h in about 14 seconds. The 0 – 200 km/h acceleration is completed in near 23 seconds, significant improvements over the stock model.

However, we have no details about the improvements brought by the extra power to the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration which is in fact, the most important aspect here.

In terms of styling, according to the single photo released by the tuner, there are no major modifications, only a new set of alloy wheels standing out.
