JE Design reveals Seat Ibiza tuning

JE Design revealed today a comprehensive tuning package for the Seat Ibiza, a package able to improve the exterior and interior appearance, improve the ride and provide extra power under the bonnet.

To begin with, the 1.2-liter TSI unit produces now 138hp and 295Nm of torque, a good improvement over the series 103hp and 175Nm of torque.

Next up is the 1.6-liter TDI unit which gets extra 20 horses to 123hp while the 1.4-liter TSI and 2.0 TDI CR models will get performance tweaks as well soon.

At the exterior, the Spanish model sports new front and rear spoilers, side skirts, trapezoidal exhaust pipes, a new rear apron and 17-inch matt black alloy wheels.

A new sport suspension able to lower the ground clearance is available as well while interior upgrades are quite subtle.

“This is set to make the Seat Ibiza (6 J model) even sportier and the tuners from Leingarten in Baden-Württemberg will emphasize the vehicle’s Spanish genes with a wide range of accessories,” say the German specialists.
