Renaultsport Megane 265 Trophy tuned by K-Tec Racing

K-Tec Racing, Renault’s aftermarket company, revealed today a tuning kit for the Renaultsport Megane 265 Trophy, a package which brings more power for the 2.0-liter engine found under the bonnet.

In stock form, the Megane 265 Trophy is able to deliver 261 horsepower but, after some modifications, K-Tec Racing managed to squeeze extra 40 horses and 81Nm of torque.

The additional power comes thanks to a new ECU unit and a revised exhaust system. There are no details on the new performance figures but we are sure that, at least the 0-100 km/h sprint is improved.

“The result of months of in-house development and testing on K-Tec’s own high-tech rolling road, the main component of the Performance Pack 1 is a power enhancing custom ECU remap,” says the tuning company.

K-Tec Racing offers the performance boost at £414, a price which includes VAT. If you want the Renflash ECU remapping system which lets the driver to store it on a plug & play system, you will have to pay another £234.
