New Audi A6 gets power boost from ABT Sportsline

Diesel engines are well-known for their better fuel economy figures compared to the petrol engines but are it is also known that they can’t offer quite the same performance as a gasoline unit.

However, ABT Sportsline decided to improve Audi A6’s diesel engine range with some performance upgrades as follows.

The 2.0-liter TDI unit receives an optimized ECU unit which provides extra 28hp on top of the standard 174hp.

If you want more power, there is the 3.0-liter V6 TDI offered by ABT Sportsline in several flavors.

The entry-level variant develops 266 horses, with 65hp more than the stock one, followed by a 296hp and a range-topping 355hp model.

On the other hand, styling improvements provided by ABT Sportsline include new front and rear spoilers, side skirts, 19- to 21-inch alloy wheels and a sports suspension system. ABT Sportsline released no pricing figures for the new Audi A6 tuning program.
