Tuned Kenworth W900 versus F10 BMW M5

When you go to a drag race, you want to bring a ride with as much power as possible and as little weight as you can get, and not a behemoth like the Kenworth W900 semi truck.

But then again, you are not Sylvain Noel, and you do not own a tuned version of the aforementioned Kenworth.

Kenworth W900 vs F10 BMW M5

Let’s look a bit at the numbers, shall we? In its stock form, the Kenworth W900 is good for about 500 Hp and 2.500 nm of torque. A lot of power, but then again, there is a lot of truck to move, also. And we should also take into consideration it can carry many tons of cargo on a trailer.

Noel’s Kenworth W900, however, has has its 12.9 liter inline 6 cylinder Paccar MX13 engine upped a bit, and now develops a staggering 2.400 Hp and 3.535 nm of torque. A lot of power, but still there is a lot of truck to move. The best way to truly see how that power works in the Kenworth W900 is to watch it go against an F10 BMW M5, a car good for about 560 Hp and 680 Nm of torque, but which weighs a lot less.
