Audi R8 by mbDESIGN introduced

The German specialists at mbDESIGN unveiled their new tuning kit for the Audi R8. The high-performance coupe gets a series of styling and performance tweaks, so buyers will get a complete overhaul.

Under the hood, the stock 4.2-liter V8 powerplant is capable to deliver 453 horsepower thanks to a revised ECU, a Capristo exhaust system, new electronic valve control and a K&N air filter.

On the outside, mbDESIGN fitted the Audi R8 with 20-inch alloy wheels shod in 235/20 ZR20 (front) and 305/25 ZR20 (rear) Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires, revised bumpers, side skirts, a white base finish with grey and black accents and revised side mirrors.

The GT coilover kit lowers the ground clearance while improving the handling.

At the interior, mbDESIGN’s Audi R8 boasts Alcantara upholstery, the GT carbon fiber package and a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system, for the moments you prefer music instead of the V8’s roaring sound.
