xXx Performance just fronted their new take on the Audi R8, and at first look, I am not really impressed.

But if I were to give them one thing, is that for this kind of project, they really nailed it, and did a great job of it.

The reason why I don’t like this particular build is because it is what people would call “slammed”, or basically lowered to the point where you can scrape gum off the street. Other than that, it’s not a bad tune, considering it only fiddled with the appearance.

Besides the lowering springs mentioned, xXx Performance also put in a widebody kit with orange accents that goes perfectly with the 21 inch orange wheels from Schmidt. Other than that, nothing else was modified, and this is a good thing. With this kind of tunes, it’s rather easy to go overboard, but this Audi R8 has just enough new features to make it stand out without being kitchy.
