Not many people have had the chance to witness the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 monster in person, but then again, the vehicle doesn’t really cater to daily use.

And if the standard version is rare enough, a tuned version of the G63 is even more rare.

Truth be told, not many tuners try their hand at such a big vehicle, in part because of their scarcity and the size of such a project. In fact, apart from a couple of tunes, one of which was the almost mandatory “bling it up”, I don’t know of any tuned Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6.

Well, Carlsson now changed that, with their kit for the Merc. While the exterior remains unchanged, Carlsson’s kit does offer a new cabin complete with leather, alcantra and carbon fiber inserts. The engine was also upgraded, with it now being able to produce 650 PS (478 kW) and 900 Nm of torque, in case the monster felt underpowered.
