Golden rims aren’t exactly the most subtle and fashionable way to tune and subsequently improve a car, which is why you wouldn’t normally praise such a risky move on behalf of some tuning companies. This is not the case as SR Auto Group has nailed that rare occasion on which a car looks good on golden rims.

The chosen project, the Mercedes C300 and its white paintjob offers the perfect base for the addition of the PUR RS04. The guys over at SR Auto Group decided to give the car a more conventional look and avoid exaggerations, which is why they chose a 19” set of rims wrapped in low profile tires.

The smaller size was chosen in order to give the owner more tire choices, something most family car owners want especially when driving a 231PS sedan like this.

The car has also been lowered in order to give an overall cohesive look to it and its newly installed rims. The perfectly mixed gold color brings out the main focus point of the C300 without annoying or bothering the eye.

While it may have been a risky choice, there is no doubt this combination, courtesy of SR Auto Group, has proven to be one of the most rewarding up to this point and given the above stated risk this makes it even more worthwhile.
