Wimmer RST released details and photos on a new tuning kit based on the Mercedes C63 S. They’ve picked the estate model for this package and managed to make it a very powerful family car.
To begin with, the stock 4.0-liter V8 unit got a major bump of 130 horsepower. This means that the total output has been rised to 640 horses thanks to a revised ECU as well as a tweaked exhaust system.
Wimmer RST released no specific figures for the 0-100 km/h sprint time but we are sure that the additional power will improve the standard (and already impressive) 4,1 seconds time.
The top speed, which is normally capped at 250 km/h, should also see a noticeable improvement. If the changes under the hood are quite big, we can’t say the same thing about the styling improvements.
They are a lot more subtle and include new 19-inch BBS wheels as well as a nice, quad-pipe stainless steel sports exhaust system which stands out in the back of the car. Pricing and availability details were not released yet but there’s a comprehensive photo gallery to take a look at.
