Dodge have been working with the performance R/T moniker sine 1960, releasing iconic and one-off a kind models, which have stood the test of times and made their way until the present day.
More than that, in the US, there seems to be a growing interest in bringing back to life the most iconic American cars and this Dodge Charger signed by R/T is the real proof that ”old is gold.”
The aftermarket specialists from the Huston based tuner Progressive Autosports have presented their latest restored Charger R/T, giving the model that vintage look and extraordinary stance.
The tuner has recreated the car`s classic yellow paint with matte black R/T graphics and stripes, also fitting it with the Cooper Cobra tires, the 440 Magnum badge which makes a reference to the muscle car`s powerful V8 engine, along with other original parts, like the R/T rear spoiler, dual pipes or the bonnet hooks.
We believe that this might be a 1968 Dodge Charger R/T, which means that it packs the 440 Magnum six-cylinder V8 engine under the hood, with 390 horsepower, which back then was absolutely amazing.
The tuner has also provided us with an impressive photo gallery with their latest restored Dodge Charger R/T. Enjoy and don`t forget to share your opinions with us!
