If Porsche has ever done something right, it has done it with the Porsche Carrera GT, an iconic model that has led the way to outstanding models and technology that we see on the present high-end Carrera GT versions today.
This 2004 Porsche Carrera GT, coming in the gorgeous Silver Metallic body wrap, is available for sale, the model heading to Silverstone Auctions` classic car sale at Race Retro, with prices to start from at least £400,000. The price can go up to £450,000.
I personally think that the asking price is quite modest, given the fact that the model has to offer a lot in terms of driving dynamics and exquisite features.
In terms of visuals, the 2004 Porsche Carrera GT comes with limited body parts, but the interior however is another story. The cabin is fully tweaked with black leather, air-conditioning, CD player, Porsche Online Pro Satellite Navigation, adjustable steering column, electric windows, bucket seats and so on.
The luggage compartment also comes with leather suit carrier, leather briefcase and a RUF suspension lift system. Another important characteristics is that this Silver Metallic Porsche GT has only 18,018 miles and was used most of the time in the United States.
In terms of performance, the Porsche Carrera GT remains one of the fastest supercars in the world, packing a 5.7-liter V10 DOHC engine, with 612 horsepower and 590 Nm of torque, hooked to a six-speed manual transmission. It can run from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 Seconds, at a topping of 330 km/h.
