Posaidon Mercedes E63 Packs Whopping Power

Posaidon German tuner is well-known for its dedication in delivering extreme power kits to a lot of sports cars, but it seem that lately, it has developed a taste for Mercedes-Benz models, especially for the impressive Mercedes-Benz E63.

The Mercedes-Benz E63 is one hell-of-a-car, and the technicians wanted the best out of it, so they fitted the car with a whopping power. We will not reveal that yet.

To equip the car with such a blasting power, they first had to reinstall most of the engine and bring some serious modifications to the car`s body.

In order to save weight, they fitted the E63 with carbon fiber components, a process most tuners have to do when coping with so much power. They installed a carbon fiber bonnet, front bumper, mirror caps, rear diffuser and tailpipe trims. Inside, they ditched the rear seats and installed much lighter ones up front. Additional readjustments refer to upgraded gearbox and new limited slip differentials to both axles.

Mechanically, they had to change the stock turbochargers with new ones, now much larger, adding upgraded intercoolers and remapping the engine`s ECU.

With all the savings and serious modifications underneath the skin, the tuner have turned the Mercedes E63 in one of the most powerful road-legal cars, managing 1,020 horsepower and a whopping 1,400 Nm of torque. With the topping standing at a limited 350 km/h, the tuner claimed just 2.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.
