That are models from Mercedes-Benz that doesn’t strike the audience with the finest design or the most impressive figure under the hood, but in the hands of aftermarket specialist, they do become more appealing and more exciting to ride.
It is also the case of the Mercedes GLS SUV, a bulk and not that amazing model, but which seems to have revived in the hands of aftermarket specialists from LARTE Design, another leading shop in the aftermarket business.
The guys have spent hours and hours finding the right styling and the power kit that would fit best underneath the car`s skin. So here we are with a carbon fiber kit and quite an impressive power boost.
As we can depict from the pictures below, the Mercedes GLC is looking almighty with the Black Crystal body wrap, adding carbon fiber elements on the front and rear bumpers, side skirts, prominent fender flares, updated front fascia grille, as well as roof spoiler which gives it a unique shape.
The presence of a four-pipe exhaust system indicates a power boost under the hood. And indeed, the model has received its fair share. We are looking here at an ECU remapping, new turbocharger and air intake, all making it quite aggressive.
The car`s 3.0-liter V6 engine usually churns out 258 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque, but thanks to the new power kit, the SUV is capable of delivering a good 290 horsepower and 691 Nm of torque. we are not sure of the car`s performance figure from 0 to 100 km/h, but that doesn’t seem to matter that much right now. What it really matters is that the car looks fabulous right now. Enjoy the photos!
