Restomods – the process of repairing the degraded aspect of a car – has become increasingly popular in the United States, most of these projects mainly concerning muscle cars from Chevrolet.
However, SpeedKore tuner, which specializes which such special transformations, has recently released the details with its latest creation, the 1970 Plymouth “Menace” Cuda.
The jaw-dropping model combines the stylish of the original model with modern design lines and new technology, the muscle car being also highlighted in two videos below.
At the exterior, the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda by SpeedKore comes with carbon fiber A-pillar, custom-built hood and bulging scoops, adding as well the new HRE S101 wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2, which perfectly match the car`s Lakeshore Blue exterior.
Inside, the cabin has received high-quality materials which mimic the car`s original interior, like black leather upholstery on the new Recaro seats, adding matte carbon fiber trim and machined aluminum pieces.
As for the muscle car`s performance, the technicians from SpeedKore have equipped this Barracuda with a massive 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine with 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger and bespoke stainless steel exhaust system. It develops a total of 720 horsepower available at 5,800 rpm.
