This exquisite BMW i8 seen below is perhaps the most complete car ever to be created by a tuning company. And if this involves AC Schnitzer, we are talking business.
The BMW i8 seen below will arrive at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show next week with a hefty dosage of modifications, at the exterior as well as inside, all part of the tuner`s Carbon Aerodynamic Accessories kit.
The kit comes with improved mechanics and outstanding features inside, including aluminum pedal set, floor mats and aluminum footrest, all increasing the cabin sportier feel.
Visually, the Carbon Aerodynamic Accessories kit comprises carbon fiber front spoiler and side skirts, carbon Racing rear wing which increase the car`s aerodynamics, as well as the new lowering springs which lower its ride height by 25 mm and 20 mm front and rear, respectively.
Other fine features also refer to the carbon fiber middle front spoiler, carbon fiber bonnet top with middle strut, carbon front side wing and more carbon fiber air outlets at both front and rear for a sportier look and greater stance.
We should also mention the carbon fiber skirts on both sides, with three-piece carbon rear diffuser providing the i8 with more downforce and better pressure distribution, adding as well carbon fiber door handle recesses and mirror covers, and new logos.
The carbon fiber package could not be complete without the fitting of the new AC1 Forged Alloy Wheels finished in BiColor or Anthracite and which perfectly complement the Red Chrome colour. They measure 21 x 8.5J and 21 x 9.5J and increase the car`s aggressive look.
As for the plug-in hybrid`s powertrain under the hood, we are looking here at the stock I3 1.5-liter synchronous engine backed by an electric motor. The overall power stands at 362 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 250 km/h.
