Even if we are used to seeing the Japanese-based Liberty Walk tuning company perform outstanding tuning programs mostly for supercars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and lately on BMW or Porsche products, it seems that the aftermarket specialists have recently shifted their attention towards other cool models, such as the one-off Acura NSX.
The NSX needs no presentation, which is marketed in the US as the Acura version of the Honda, is an exceptionally built sports car with advanced aerodynamics and impressive performance under the hood. Even so, the technicians from LB decided it was high-time for some more muscles.
We are looking here at the fitting of a much more aggressive aero kit, highlighted by the new front apron, custom-built rear bumper with new diffuser, extremely imposing rear wing, wheel arch extensions and so on.
Since the project is still in progress and the pictures below are just some teasers to let us know on how the model will eventually turn out, we surely depict that the engineers will also add a new set of wider wheels, up-to-date and lowered suspension system, as well as a high-performance exhaust system, which might announce a more aggressive engine growl.
Concerning the car`s powertrain under the hood, Liberty Walks tuner is well-known for leaving that alone with no modifications, so we expect the same performance.
The Acura NSX is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine paired to three electric motors, which produce a total of 573 horsepower and 645 Nm of torque. This means that the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in a mind-blowing 2.7 seconds, at a top speed of 307 km/h.
