Hartge released today a new performance package, this time for the new BMW 3 Series model.
To be more precise, this kit is directed straight to the 328i model which is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo unit delivering 245hp in stock form.

The German specialists fitted the model with a revised ECU unit able to provide extra 45hp and 65Nm of torque for a total of 286hp and 415Nm of torque at 2,700 rpm.
With these extra resources, the acceleration from 80 to 180 km/h is possible in 12,1 seconds, with almost four seconds better than the standard model.
The top speed remains limited at 250 km/h while the fuel consumption figures remain the same even we talk about a quite serious power boost.
Moreover, Hartge claims that this performance upgrade can be ordered for any model in the range which is powered by the 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit.
From the list we remind that several models such as the 5 Series, Z4, X1 and X3 benefit from this petrol engine, therefore, the engine upgrade is available too in these cases.
