The carmaker`s hardcore division is making an outstanding come-back with the new 2016 Camaro SC610, recently unveiled at the Motor Press Guild, during a special event. As expected, this one wears a supercharged engine and a slightly revised body style.
In terms of visuals, the 2016 Callaway Chevrolet Camaro SC610 is standing out with the tuner`s exterior and interior insignia, sport vented hood, the Callaway Nine Spoke FlowForged wheels, Callaway key fob, door sill panels, embroidered floor mats and more.
but the sports car`s main attribute is under the hood, where Calloway mostly exceeds. “The supercharger assembly is not cramped below the hood because we wouldn’t compromise performance or reliability. Our design maintains consistent charge air temperatures with exceptionally low restriction. Plus, we achieve even airflow distribution to all cylinders. The result is a broad torque band and more consistent power delivery during extreme driving. We are dealing here with 610 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque, resulted from a 6.2-liter V8 engine, specially modified with the TripleCooled Intercooler System, Lowe Restriction, High Recovery Cold Air Intake System, as well as AeroSurround Extractor.
