The last time we have heard about a vintage Porsche 911 was about a month ago, the iconic 1972 German model being the subject of an exquisite tuning program carried out by the folks from KAEGE tuner.
That one came with the perfect mix between old-fashion and modern look, highlighted by the Osram LED project lights, multi-link rear suspension, Recaro sports seats, leather upholstery or five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin rubbers.
Now the true symbol of the 1970s is back into our spotlights, this time the Porsche 911 T being visualized by the well-known Edo Competition tuner, which knows the model in-and-out.
We are dealing here with a restored 1970 Porsche 911 T 2.2 Coupe, the tuner giving it back the glamour it once had.
First off, the 1970 Porsche 911 T is standing out from the crowd with the exotic blue body wrap, which is complemented by the Fuchs wheels, providing it a more genuine look.
Under the hood, the 1970 Porsche 911 T comes with a 2.2-liter air-cooled horizontally opposed flat-six engine, with two Weber carburetors and five-speeder. But perhaps the most important feature of this particular model isthe extremely dangerous handling, which was considered at that time a real adventure and adrenaline rush.
Wat was a little bit disappointing, for me at least, is that in terms of pricing, this old lad didn’t get the best respect and treatment it deserved. Nowadays, the model is appraised at just $110,000, but perhaps 1970 Porsche petrol heads might be willing to blow up a large amount of money to have it at their door.
