Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 Facelift by SR Sounds More Powerful

Mercedes updated the gorgeous and extremely appealing top of the line CLA 45 a couple of months ago, but a lot of tuners have already taken matter into their hands and decided to shake things a little bit.

We are dealing here with the German-based tuner Schmidt Revolution, recently applying a bunch of styling updates and a nice power boost under the hood. But one of the car`s main highlight is the new set of wheels.

Seen here with a gorgeous Silver Metallic body wrap, this lad is now coming with the standout OEM-rea wing as well as the performance-side stripes with the Speed-Box logo, which give it a sportier feel and look.

Also, the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 is wrapping 19-inch alloy wheels, coming available with a choice of stock concave or deep concave styling and wearing the 235/35 front and rear tires, complemented as well by the red brake calipers.

More than that, thanks to the new H&R springs, which lowers the car`s ride height by 0,98 mm, the CLA 45 in now looking more aggressive.

Under the hood, the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 by SR has received a slight power boost. We are looking here at 25 horsepower more than the stock version, for a total of 394 horsepower, all juiced from the same 2.0-liter turbocharged engine.

The performance figure is not given, but in the stock, the model sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h. With the new power increase, we should expect at least 4.0 seconds for the same straight run.
